Spicy Onion Pork Chops

1 tablespoon butter, divided

1/2 tablespoon olive oil

4 thin center cut pork chops

1 package Old El Paso Hot & Spicy Taco Seasoning Mix

1 medium onion sliced thinly

1 can Campbell’s Cream of Celery Soup

1/2 cup of wine (such as Cabernet Sauvignon) or water

1. Rub the pork chops liberally on both sides with the taco seasoning mix. Should use approximately 3/4 of the packet but can use more depending on the size of your pork chops.

3. Add seasoned pork chops and cook on medium heat 5 minutes on each side or until browned.

4. Remove pork chops from pan. Leave oil and remaining seasoning in pan.

5. Add another 1/2 tablespoon of butter to the pan. Scrap the seasoning off the bottom of the pan so it doesn’t burn, and mix it into the melting butter. When butter is thoroughly melted, add onions to pan and cook on medium-low heat until golden/tender (about 10-15 min).
