After receiving so many rejections in the early months in which I was submitting secondary applications, I decided not to submit secondaries to the following schools, knowing my rejection was imminent.

  • Albert Einstein College of Medicine
  • Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine
  • George Washington University College of Medicine & Health Sciences
  • Howard University
  • New York Medical College

Now the sting of rejection is gone and I am looking forward to moving on and continuing my journey to medical school!

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I would recommend applying at an earlier date during your next application cycle. The earlier the better. Your AAMC application can be submitted starting in June, and should be because schools offer interviews and acceptances on a rolling basis. Best of luck to you! Rooting for you!
